One year to the day after our capitol was attacked, we will be tasting delicious Walla Wines from 2009 instead of Molotov Cocktails. Including:

• 2004 Vaillons Chablis Premier Cru bottled at the Caves Jean et Sebastien Dauvissat is the first wine in which Dana Atwood could taste the “terroir.”  Not Walla Walla; but goes with Chicken Noodle or Matzoh Ball Soup.
• Double Magnum of Dunham Cellars 2009 Three Legged Red. On a sunny day in 1994, Winemaker Eric Dunham rescued a badly injured puppy. The puppy had lost one leg, but found a home. The puppy was named “Port” and had free run of the winery. Three Legged Red was named after Port.
• 2009 Skylite Cellars Soiree won Double Gold-2013 Seattle Wine Awards and Gold-2012 Savor Northwest. 64% Cab, 21% Syrah, 15% Merlot. 22 months in French and American Oak. Only 212 cases made.
• 2009 Eidolon from Eidolon Vineyard. A blend of Cab, Syrah, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. The name Eidolon means apparition, which they chose because they made this wine in the image of an ideal.

Mother’s Bistro chef-owner Lisa Schroeder makes everything from scratch using the freshest Northwest ingredients. Slow cooked foods that take hours to prepare: handmade stews, dumplings, roasts, and braised dishes. She seldom waives corkage; but agreed to for this Society. Street parking is free after 7:00pm.

Choice of: Belle’s Chicken Noodle Soup or Matzoh Ball Soup

Choice of: Fried Ricotta Cheese Ravioli or Housemade Fried Calamari

Choice of: Grilled Wild Salmon, Slow-Cooked Pulled Pork, or Mom’s Meatloaf

Sides: Cheddar Mac & Cheese, Sauteed Spinach, and French Fries with Spicy Aioli


To reduce the spread of Covid 19, we ask that only Members and Guests who are FULLY VACCINATED attend WFSO events.

Non-Member fees offset costs including Professional Association Management, Website Maintenance, Credit Card Processing, and our $1,552 Annual Insurance Premium.
