Our members will be able to purchase Burnt Bridge wines at a 20% discount and consume them during class.

Our instructor, Kim Mahan, is a Portland native. Her passion for cooking and great food started as a survival skill against her mother’s 60’s era Hot Dog Pizza and homemade TV dinners.  Her first paying job was at the age of 16 was Burgerville in Hillsboro.  She has since earned degrees in Fine Arts and Developmental Psychology from PSU.  After year of teaching preschool, she decided to get serious about her growing passion for cooking. She trained at the Clark College Culinary Program and had internships at the Grant House under chef Chris Stone, the Bread and Ink Café, and Chez Phillipe in Barcelona, Spain.

Kim has been teaching for 18 years; including 10 years at her cooking school is 10. She has great reviews and considers it her job to make sure we have a fun outing. Burnt Bridge is 5 years old and their wines have won many awards. So many that they have removed the bronze medals from their tasting room because they ran out of space.
